MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of uneasiness due to a chest infection. The actor complained about feeling uneasiness, following which he has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital hospital.
Saab has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He’s recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers,” read a statement posted on Dilip Kumar’s twitter handle.
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar turned 95 last year in December.
Hospital officials added that they were not sure how long the 95-year-old actor would stay in hospital and there was nothing to worry about.
Earlier in 2017, Kumar was in the hospital for a short time because of a kidney-related ailment. Few months after he returned home from the hospital, he was again advised to rest as he was diagnosed with pneumonia.
He was last seen on-screen in the 1998 film ‘Qila’.
