JAIPUR: Crisscrossing Rajasthan on the last day of campaigning before Friday”s elections, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi both of whom are in Rajasthan campaigning for their respective parties, launched scathing attacks against each other.
Campaigning at Alwar this morning, Gandhi hit out at Modi for his alleged failure said PM is never short of hailing the motherland before every election even though he is working for crony capitalism and not being able to ensure two crore jobs. “The Prime Minister Says “Bharat Mata Ki jai” in every speech, but works for Anil Ambani.” Congress Chief alleged.
From 200 km away in Sikar, the Prime Minister responded promptly sharply to the attack by the Congress president asking how can he be stopped from chanting ‘Bharat mata ki jai’. “The Congress has come up with a “fatwa” that I should not begin rallies with ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. How can they deny this? They must be ashamed of even saying such a thing. This shows their disrespect for our motherland,” said PM Modi.
