NEW DELHI:  Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has dared PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh and issued a statement after his phone number was found in a letter recovered in connection with the Bhima Koregaon violence case to prove that the former Madhya Pradesh CM had any links with the Naxals and was involved in “anti-national activities”.

Digvijaya Singh on Monday challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to act against him. The Pune police is likely to question the Congress leader in connection with their investigation into the activities of the banned CPI(Maoist).

Digvijay Singh was under the radar of Pune Police after a telephone number allegedly linked to him was found in one of the letters seized by cops from Maoists sympathisers a few months back during a probe into the Bhima Koregaon violence case. However the Senior Congress leader denied all the alligations against him and accused the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of hatching a conspiracy against him.
