BJP leader thrashes disabled for saying he’ll support Akhilesh Yadav

LUCKNOW: A BJP leader in Uttar Pradesh Sambhal was caught assaulting a differently-abled man allegedly for criticizing the party’s rule in the state and abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi while chanting slogans that he will support Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and not the BJP.

In the widely-circulated video, Mohammad Miya, a BJP leader in Sambhal, is seen hitting the man with a stick on his face in the video, which has been widely shared on social media. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Manoj Gujjar. The incident took place outside the Sambhal SDM’s office. Later, police took custody of the youth.
