Brothers shot over music in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Two persons were allegedly thrashed and shot  after a fight broke out over song selection and to play a particular song repeatedly. Three persons including a disc jockey (DJ) have been arrested for opening firing police said.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Sunday night around 10.24 p.m at a family function in west Delhi’s Palam Village. The disc jockey (DJ) Akshay (19), his employer Amit Sharma (29) and his brother Ashish Sharma (23) were arrested for firing at the duo, they added.

The police team reached the spot and found Shanky and Tushar Bhardwaj lying in a pool of blood, Deputy Commissioner of Police Devender Arya said. “They were taken to a hospital in Dwarka where they are still undergoing treatment. Their condition is out of danger as per the doctors,” Arya stated.  The police said  that further investigation was underway.
