Flight catches fire on landing in Hyderabad; all flyers safe

Hyderabad: A major mishap was averted at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Thursday when a fire broke out in an engine of Jazeera Airways flight from Kuwait during landing at 1:30 am.
The Air Traffic Control and ground staff noticed a “minor fire” and informed the pilot, who then immediately shut the engines. All the 149 passengers were evacuated safely.
