BHOPAL: BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday, mocked former prime minister Manmohan Singh, saying that Singh used to read out scripted speeches handed to him by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi during his foreign tour.
He was addressing a rally at Ratlam in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh where assembly polls are scheduled for November 28. BJP President once again called infiltrators as “termites” and vowed to flush them out of the country. The BJP will not allow a single infiltrator to stay. For us, vote bank is not important, the country’s security is,” Shah said.
“Lal Bahadur Shastri had given the slogan ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’. While you (farmers) feed the people, they (soldiers) guard our borders. But infiltrators are like termites who eat away at the country’s security. They need to be removed,” Mr Shah said.
