PATNA: Political strategist Prashant Kishor, join his hand with Janta Dal United (JDU). Kishor, who is also the founder of Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), joined the JD(U) in the presence of Nitish Kumar.
In political circles, Prashant Kishor came to be known as Chanakya of Nitish Kumar and their association has continued even after Mr Kumar joined hands with the BJP. Ahead of the 2014 general elections, Kishore worked closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election campaign.
Tweeting in advance of his political plunge, Kishor stated he was “excited” to start his “new journey from Bihar” Kishor’s entry in the JD(U) is likely to give a fillip to Nitish Kumar’s prospects in 2019 General Elections. Over the next few years, Mr Kishore worked for political rivals of the BJP – not just Nitish Kumar but also the Congress.
