Madhya Pradesh: The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan repeted his words and said roads in Madhya Pradesh is better than that of United States. Unfazed by the jeers, Mr Chouhan repeated his assessment at a public meeting on Wednesday.
Chouhan said the state got more electricity and better roads after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power, we have made 1.5 lakh km roads in Madhya Pradesh. Congress gave 1,900 MW electricity, but today we are giving 18,000 MW electricity the Chief Minister said.
However, Congress criticised me for saying this. I want to say again that our roads are no less than the US,” he said. it was not just the Chief Minister making the remarks but his son Kartikey also joined the bandwagon in lavishing praises on Madhya Pradesh’s roads.
Kartikey sought to put a stamp of approval on his father’s claim and said that roads in Madhya Pradesh are ‘100 percent better than the United States’.
