Two attempts sucide during Maratha quota protest in Aurangabad, Maharastra

The police on tuesday deployed more forces and cut the internet services as Maratha protest demanding reservation in Maharastra;s Aurangabad district and other parts of Marathwada set vehicles, including those of police general public and fire control departments, and pilted stones. the situation gone worst when two men tried to commit suicide.

Seventy percent police forces of all the units have been deployed to control the law and order situation a police official said. Seven battalions of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) have been deployed in certain sensitive areas besides the local police, officials said.

The Maharastra government directed the authority to cut all the internet services so as to stop  users from spreading rumour on social media in Aurangabad, where tension prevailed in May due to communal riots in which the police faced wrath for not handling the situation well.

The two youngsters, who attempted suicide on Tuesday, have been admitted to Ghati Hospital.
